Why weight matters
High-level armour usually pushes a vehicle over 3,500 kg. From that point a B licence is no longer enough: you need drivers with a C1 or C licence, and the fleet loses flexibility.
Our BR6 configuration is designed to keep that weight in check. For driving purposes the vehicle is still a car or SUV, and any officer with a B licence can take the wheel.

The protection stays on the inside. As far as possible, the exterior look, interior space and day-to-day use of the original vehicle are preserved.
In the workshop
The vehicle is stripped down to the bare body. The protection is then fitted piece by piece and the interior is reassembled. These photos are from real projects at our facilities.

Protection levels
European standards EN 1063 (glazing) and EN 1522/1523 (doors, windows and enclosures) rate bullet resistance from BR1 to BR7. BR6 is designed for 7.62 × 51 mm NATO rifle ammunition at around 830 m/s.
The exact level of each vehicle, and the standards that apply to each component, are stated in its certificate.
